Manufacturing Engineering Lead

Are you passionate about leading engineering teams and optimizing manufacturing processes? We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Lead to drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and new product introduction within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4 Manufacturing Engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives focused on continuous improvement, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Develop, maintain, and control process documentation, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Design Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies to identify and resolve manufacturing issues using a structured problem-solving approach.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring manufacturing processes are properly developed, validated, and optimized.
- Utilize CAD software to design and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures.
- Monitor Engineering department KPIs and provide timely technical support to production operations.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams or in a similar leadership role.
- Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and structured problem-solving.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills
- Lean Manufacturing.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- CAD software, preferably SolidWorks (experience with other CAD platforms is also valued).
- Process documentation development and control.
- Manufacturing process development and implementation of process improvements.
Languages
- Advanced English (spoken and written) is required.
