Responsibilities:
The Opportunity
This role is responsible for delivering analytical insights that enable Product Development teams to establish robust specifications for incoming raw materials across the LATAM sector. This includes aligning, validating, and harmonizing analytical methods in collaboration with external suppliers and Global Measurement Sciences teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with quality requirements. The role leverages both conventional and advanced analytical instrumentation to support the LATAM Innovation Agenda while utilizing digital technologies and data-driven tools to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and accelerate decision-making.
Your Impact
As R&D Analytical Tech Analyst your responsibilities would consist of:
Enable innovation agenda by performing core simple and core complex physicochemical analysis, delivering technical insights for product development and operations teams.- Review and approve vendor analytical methods for ingredients, intermediate and finished good specifications to ensure product design consistency.
- Execute internal policies to align discrepancies in regards analytical methods for both quality and food safety parameters (mycotoxins), leading to contribute to the high quality and food safety of our products.
- Use of digital tools for laboratory automatization to increase agility and productivity.
- Execute the development of new green analytical methodologies for both R&D and Operations.
Qualifications:
Who Are We Looking For?
Education
- Food Chemist degree or similar (master's degree preferred)
Experience
- Technical Knowledge on Analytical Technologies and Testing data interpretation
- Conversational and technical English language.
- +3 years of experience working in Analytical Labs.
- Software management (Office 365, SAP, etc.) and digital skills
- International and local travel availability
- Knowledge of National or International Analytical Methods (NOM & NMX, AOAC, AOCS, CODEX, ASTA)
- Basic Statistical knowledge
- Ability to handle multi projects
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Problem solving skills
