The Business Anlyst is the data and operational backbone of the AV Category Management team. The Analyst keeps the category's data accurate and current, handles Level 1 response to internal and supplier queries, and produces recurring reporting for category leadership and suppliers, allowing the rest of the category team to focus on supplier strategy and field execution.
JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Data Lake , Category Data , and Supplier Data ; perform recurring audits, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate updates with Market Development Specialists, Strategists, and Category Managers.
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and supplier inquiries, validate AI agent outputs, resolve exceptions, and escalate Level-2 product and BOM configuration questions to the appropriate resource.
- Produce monthly market-share, sales, and category performance reports, weekly sales reports, audit data sources supporting AI-generated reports, and provide ad hoc data analysis, competitive insights, and forecasting support to Category Management
- SOP Authoring & AI Supervision
Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation, oversee AI agent accuracy, identify and escalate recurring issues, and work with Strategists and Category Managers to capture and document evolving process knowledge.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 2–4 years in data analysis, operations support, or analyst roles.
- Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, or data management tools.
- Demonstrated ownership of a recurring data or reporting workflow.
- Proficient with Excel, Google Sheets, and BI dashboards.
Strong written and verbal communication — confident on calls, stand-ups, and supplier-facing interactions with North American teams.
