The role is based in Tlalnepantla, Estado de México (on-site role) , working Monday through Friday . - Perform physical, chemical, and/or microbiological analyses in accordance with established procedures
- Execute inspections and release testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
- Interpret analytical results and document data accurately and in a timely manner
- Identify deviations, non-conformities, and out-of-specification (OOS) results
- Support root cause investigations and follow up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Ensure the proper use, calibration, and basic maintenance of laboratory and measurement equipment
- Actively participate in internal, external, and regulatory audits
- Promote compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Support the training and development of junior technical staff or interns when applicable
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Sciences, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in Quality Control or Laboratory functions
- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry and quality control principles
- Experience operating and interpreting results from Gas Chromatography (GC) and Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)
- Knowledge of sensory analysis and the ability to accurately describe sensory characteristics
- Experience interpreting specifications, analytical methods, and technical standards
- Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 22716, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Experience working with laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, and quality documentation
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
- Experience within the fragrance, flavors, or specialty chemical industry
- Experience participating in quality investigations and complex problem-solving activities
- Ability to work effectively in highly regulated environments with strict quality standards
