The main responsibility for this role is to help maximize profitability in our Earning Assets (Loan Portfolio and Sellable Inventory) across all LATAM countries, by identifying opportunities within category, KPIs, and store performance; partnering with field operators to highlight trends; and providing informed recommendations to drive revenue growth or efficiencies. Additionally, this role will assist with special studies related to M&A Due Diligence to identify risks and opportunities in EA profitability across GM, JW, and Auto categories. This position will lead and develop a team of analysts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and develop a team of analysts.

Support the delivery of meaningful insights to field leaders through BI reporting and ad-hoc analysis.

Collect, analyze, and report on lending and merchandise sales data with the intention of optimizing performance, through review of trends and exceptions.

Analyze market trends on key merchandise categories and provide insights to drive overall profitability.

Develop and prepare Weekly/Monthly reporting and distribute to the Executive Team and Field Ops.

Develop relationships and partner with field operators to highlight trends and provide informed recommendations.

Serve as a key liaison to multi-unit field managers with regards to lending and sales.

Provide recommendations on opportunities and risks identified during the M&A DD process.

Opportunity to spend time in our pawn shops to better understand the business and connect with our most important asset, our People.

Partners with various internal stakeholders and provides EA recommendations as required.

Develops, prepares, and presents to senior leadership and field routine insights from BI and ad-hoc reports to monitor business performance.

Reviews month-end KPIs on key categories, provides variance analysis, researches irregularities, and uses the analysis to develop meaningful actions to improve field execution.

Supports business unit partners by analyzing market conditions, customer behavior, operational performance, and other ad-hoc requests.

Direct interaction with multi-unit field managers, developing relationships and feedback channels with the intent of business optimization.

Identify opportunities for process improvement, customer experience, and sustained profitable growth.

Leverages AI and Business Intelligence tools to drive stronger insight into the business.

Reports KPI and operating metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Delivers timely, error-free analysis and reporting to management.

Assists with special projects, ad-hoc analysis and other areas of Finance as needed.

Becomes familiar with system-specific levers to implement pricing and lending adjustments.
Earning Assets Metrics & Portfolio Management:

Monitoring Earning Assets Metrics – Ensuring healthy growth in metrics such as NLM, PLO, SGP, and LTV ratios.

Inventory Management – Optimizing inventory yields and promoting sales velocity using pricing and lending analysis.

Performance Analytics – Developing and reviewing store-level reports to identify which regions or stores are underperforming in asset generation.

Leveraging forecasting models and market trend analysis to manage gold asset performance, executing data-driven decisions on inventory levels and recommending retail pricing adjustments.

Collaborates with Retail Strategy and Operations to design and execute data-driven promotional campaigns, providing critical analysis to monitor sell-through rates and optimize retail margins
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

5-10 years of operational or financial analyst experience, preferably in the retail or financial lending industries. 2-5 years of previous leadership experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, or Finance from a four-year college or university preferred.
