Description
Fulger Transport Inc. is actively seeking to hire new Afternoon Fleet Representative to help oversee and develop our North American Safety team. The ideal candidate would be an have experience within the Trucking Logistics Industry and a strong English ability. This individual would be an autonomous self-starter with the ability to work independently. This is a fully remote position which requires the successful candidate to have and use their own laptop, cell phone, and stable internet.

In order to succeed in this role, the successful candidate will need:
- A strong mastery of the English language.
- Strong written & email communication.
- A intermediate level of computer literacy.
- Meticulous attention to details.
- The ability to work afternoon, night, and weekend shifts as required.
The main tasks associated with this position include:
- Assist with trucks and trailers repairs / calling for road service in emergency situations.
- Finding the nearest shops where trucks can go in for issues.
- Paying for certain repair services that have been completed.
- Gathering all sort of documents about that specific issue: photos, travel documents +
- Understanding the rules of the Driver’s Hours of Service.
- Assist drivers with ELD (electronic logging device) services.
- Checking if trucks & trailers are communicating correct info through GPS.
- Weekly and monthly reports.
- Verify video cameras, drivers, hours of service, alerts, errors.
- Verify if trucks are due for inspections.
- Sending emails to owner operators for documents that we need from them.
- Sending trailers in service when needed.
- Close communication with the Shop in Essex.
Schedule:
Afternoon shift: 4PM-12AM EST Monday - Friday
Qualifications
Experience: The ideal candidate would have 1-3 years of Safety experience, upper level customer service or logistics experience.
Education: High School Diploma required.
Skills:
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Self-Motivated, ambitious and results driven.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $11,100.00 per month
