Job purpose
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems and the newly created BorgWarner Technical Center in SLP – Mexico Propulsion Engineering Center (MPEC) is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an Office Coordinator. As the Office Coordinator you will join a team creating space for the implementation of projects in the electromobility domain, in which engineering teams operate.
The Office Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Mexico Propulsion Engineering Center (MPEC) while creating a positive employee experience and fostering a highly engaged workplace culture. This role acts as a key liaison between employees, supporting office administration, employee engagement initiatives, recruitment activities, onboarding processes, community involvement programs, and financial coordination.
Key responsibilities
Employee Engagement & Culture
-
Lead employee engagement, recognition, wellness, social, and community involvement programs to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Coordinate internal communications, employee events, and site-wide initiatives that strengthen employee experience and participation.
Recruitment & Intern Management
-
Coordinate the full lifecycle of internship and recruitment processes, including requisitions, interview scheduling, candidate communications, onboarding, and documentation management.

Partner with hiring managers and Human Resources to ensure timely hiring processes and a positive candidate experience.
Onboarding
-
Coordinate onboarding activities and administrative processes to ensure successful integration of new employees, interns, and contractors.
Financial & Administrative Support
-
Monitor SAP requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments to ensure timely processing, budget compliance, and accurate cost tracking.

Track and report monthly expenses associated with office operations, employee engagement activities, and site events.
Office Operations

Manage office services, vendors, facilities, travel arrangements, and general administrative activities to ensure efficient site operations.

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Psychology, or related field.

Fluent English (written and spoken).

Minimum 1 year of experience in office administration, employee engagement, HR coordination, recruiting support, or related functions.

Experience organizing corporate events and employee engagement activities.

Experience working with vendors, budgets, invoices, and administrative processes.

SAP experience (Preferred)

Advanced Microsoft Office, CANVA, Video editors, Kahoot skills, etc.
