As a Transportation Assistant you will accomplish transportation-related processes, as and capture and manage the data generated during daily operations.
You will work #LI-Onsite reporting to the transportation supervisor in our distriboution center located in Iztacalco.
Main Responsibilities

You will prepare reports and conduct analysis on transportation rates, costs, and fleet productivity.

You will monitor operational Indicators and deliverables. These include Operational Excellence projects, such as opening and closing action cards, generating continuous improvement ideas, activities, and 5S implementation. Additionally, you will be responsible for EHS activities, including tracking and closing corrective actions.

You will assign and upload shipment information into the OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) system.

You will provide onboarding support to new drivers, address questions from drivers and Line Transport (LT) coordinators, and manage traffic flow within the distribution center yard.

You will monitor dedicated fleet operations, including vehicle tracking, management, and availability.

You will follow up on operational incidents with the Control Tower team, including returns, credit notes, and customer claims.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree completed in Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Microsoft Office skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables).

English: Intermediate level.
