At Lenovo, the Business Transformation Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing strategic business transformation initiatives across Mexico, ensuring end-to-end delivery with measurable impact on business performance, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness.
This role works closely with cross-functional local and global teams—including Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, and other business functions—to translate the business strategy for Mexico into actionable projects. The position drives structural change, process optimization, and the adoption of new ways of working in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment.
The Business Transformation Project Manager serves as a key change enabler and the central point of coordination between local and global stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment, disciplined execution, and the delivery of sustainable business value for the Mexico organization.

Lead business transformation initiatives in Mexico from definition through implementation, execution, and post-implementation follow-up, ensuring end-to-end project delivery.

Translate Mexico business priorities into actionable projects with measurable business impact.

Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, KPIs, and deliverables aligned with both local and global business goals.

Coordinate cross-functional local and global teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and execution excellence.

Manage key stakeholders across local, regional, and global leadership, ensuring alignment, visibility, and timely decision-making.

Identify opportunities for business transformation, including process optimization, organizational design, go-to-market improvements, and operational efficiency, and convert them into actionable initiatives.

Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, developing mitigation plans to ensure successful execution.

Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones, KPIs, timelines, and business objectives are achieved.

Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and reports focused on business outcomes and value creation rather than activity tracking.

Support organizational change management by facilitating communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption across all levels of the organization.

Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, governance standards, and best practices.

Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and process simplification within the context of the Mexican market.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

5+ years of experience in project management, business transformation, management consulting, strategy, or similar roles within multinational organizations.

Proven experience leading business transformation or organizational change initiatives in local markets, preferably in Mexico or Latin America.

Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional, and global environments.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior executives.

Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and business recommendations.
