Job Summary
This internship provides an opportunity to support the logistics department in daily operations, contributing to the efficient flow of materials and products within Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and tracking inbound and outbound shipments.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock counts and reconciliation.
- Help maintain accurate logistics data in the company's systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, purchasing) to resolve logistical issues.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends and areas for optimization.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the logistics team.
Job Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Prior experience or internships in a logistics environment is a plus.
