The Job:
As an IMMEX Asset Control Analyst, you’ll be part of our Import-Export team working as an on-site employee. You’ll be responsible for tracking, managing, and reconciling fixed assets imported under the IMMEX program, ensuring proper documentation, registration, and compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
You’ll get to:
- Maintain detailed records of all fixed assets imported under the IMMEX program, including acquisition, location, movement, transfer, and disposal information.
- Ensure proper documentation for asset registration, transfers between facilities, and disposals in accordance with IMMEX and applicable customs regulations.
- Reconcile fixed asset records against customs documentation and IMMEX reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Conduct periodic physical audits of fixed assets and ensure accurate reconciliation with IMMEX and customs records.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate asset-related information, documentation, and traceability.
- Assist the IMMEX Coordinator in preparing asset-related reports and information required by SAT and Secretaría de Economía.
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting the management of imported fixed assets under the IMMEX program and support updates to procedures and controls as needed.
- Collaborate with Import-Export, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure accurate asset tracking, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement best-practice improvements for IMMEX fixed asset management, reconciliation, and compliance.
The Person:

- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade and Customs, Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in IMMEX operations, customs compliance, fixed asset control, or import-export processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of IMMEX requirements, customs documentation, asset movements, transfers, disposals, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience supporting customs, IMMEX, or regulatory audits, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Import-Export, Operations, Materials, and Finance teams.
