Your Job
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for driving supplier quality performance, ensuring incoming material quality, supporting supplier audits, leading corrective actions, and partnering cross-functionally to improve quality, reliability, and compliance. This role works closely with manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and supplier teams to reduce defects, prevent disruptions, and support continuous improvement across the CSBU business.
Our Team
You will be part of the CSBU Quality team supporting the CSIO, CSEN, CSIM, CSRF and CSSD divisions in Guadalajara. The team works closely with internal and external suppliers, manufacturing operations, engineering, and procurement to ensure components and materials meet quality expectations and business requirements.
What You Will Do

Drive supplier quality performance by monitoring internal and external supplier results and supporting improvement actions.

Lead supplier assessments, audits, and follow-up activities to strengthen supplier capability and compliance.

Partner with suppliers and internal teams to investigate defects, nonconformances, and quality disruptions.

Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, SPC, PFMEA, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Support incoming quality by defining inspection plans, standards, and expectations for components and materials.

Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and suppliers to resolve quality challenges and reduce component-related disruptions.

Create and maintain quality documentation to support quality system requirements, audits, and customer expectations.

Support new product introduction, supplier qualification activities, and customer audit preparation/follow-up.
Who You Are
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing, or process improvement environments.

Experience with cable, harnesses, and/or PCBA processes.

Knowledge of supplier audits, quality systems, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and SPC.

Fluent English communication skills.
What Will Put You Ahead

Experience with supplier auditing, including QSA/QPA.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.

Experience using SAP and quality reporting tools.

Knowledge of IPC 610/620 standards.

Experience supporting supplier development, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
