Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to backend and frontend development teams, guiding them toward successful project delivery

Define solution architectures and establish technical guidelines to ensure consistency across projects

Monitor code quality, security, and application performance to maintain high engineering standards

Coordinate code reviews and provide technical mentoring to support the growth of team members

Design scalable solutions based on microservices and APIs to meet evolving business needs

Ensure compliance with development and security standards throughout the software delivery process

Manage technical risks and propose mitigation strategies to safeguard project outcomes

Coordinate deployments to ensure smooth, reliable, and timely releases

Collaborate closely with architecture and business teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals
Requirements
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

At least 5 years of professional relevant experience in backend software development

At least one year of experience in people management or team leadership, guiding teams of 5 or more FTEs

Solid backend development experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot for building modern, production-grade applications

Practical experience implementing batch processes using Spring Batch

Strong knowledge of microservices-based architecture for designing modular and scalable systems

Hands-on experience with the integration of REST APIs and asynchronous messaging

Working knowledge of Apache Kafka and Redis for event-driven communication and caching

Experience with repository and Git workflow management using GitHub

Practical use of SonarQube for quality and coverage validation

Experience with security analysis tools such as Fortify, SAST, and DAST
-
Proven ability to design performance- and resilience-oriented solutions

Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher
