What does a Recruiter Trainee do at WPP Production?
The Recruitment Trainee plays a pivotal support role within our Human Resources team, specifically for the Recruitment area. This position is crucial for managing the growing volume of open requisitions and the subsequent increase in administrative and operational tasks. The Trainee will provide essential support to the HR Coordinator, ensuring the smooth execution of recruitment processes, from candidate outreach to interview scheduling. This role enables the HR Coordinator to dedicate valuable time to strategic projects, Talent Committees, and broader HR initiatives, while the Trainee gains foundational experience and contributes significantly to attracting top talent and maintaining an efficient, positive candidate experience.
Duties:
- Support the publishing and monitoring of job vacancies across various platforms.
- Assist in formatting and updating job descriptions to ensure clarity and attractiveness.
- Perform data cleaning and update candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse).
- Pre-screen résumés (CVs) against job requirements and provide follow-up with candidates in process.
- Assist with sending out interview invitations to the HR Coordinator and Hiring Managers.
- Assist with distributing technical assessments to candidates.
- Manage standard candidate communications to ensure a positive and consistent experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist with sending follow-up emails to candidates with active applications, as well as sending thank-you/rejection emails to those not selected.
- Maintain organized archival of CVs and interview feedback from HR and managers.
- Collaborate in compiling data and preparing basic reports for the Recruitment Report Positions.
- Assist with the processing of freelance onboarding requests and subsequent follow-up.
- Coordinate interviews for building and maintaining a pool of freelance talent.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economic-Administrative fields, Psychology, or a related area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Office 365.
- Familiarity with professional social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Basic understanding or keen interest in Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, SAP, Bamboo, Taleo, Workday).
- English language proficiency (B2-C1)
