Job Summary
Lead the launch and implementation of new projects throughout the LATAM region, focusing on productivity improvement, new products, engineering changes, and the development of new processes.
Manage a team focused sustaining of material list into SAP, drawings, certificacions, laboratory to ensure continuity of the site.
Ensure compliance with customer, legal, and regulatory requirements, and guarantee the optimization of necessary resources for their implementation.
Job Responsibilities
1.- Approve new product or process improvement projects based on the methodologies established by the organization (PROLaunch), ensuring the use of tools and the quality of deliverables in each project.
2.- Lead the deployment and implementation of corporate requirements related to EBS & OpA PROLaunch, Portfolio Management, and Technology Roadmaps, guaranteeing the level of operational excellence defined by the organization.
3.- Ensure compliance with the requirements of corporate Quality Management Systems and environmental, health, and safety certifications within the Engineering area processes.
4.- Ensure the certification of the testing laboratory in accordance with the ISO17025 standard, ensuring the operational continuity of the laboratory.
5.- Lead the innovation process for new products (ETO’s, VAVE, NPI) in conjunction with the Marketing and Sales areas to support the organic growth of the organization.
6.- Approve deviations from the original product specification (UL, drawings, corporate specifications, etc.).
7.- Approve engineering change notices through the Engineering Request (SAP) system, ensuring the process flow expressed in the management processes based on customer, regulatory, legal, process, or product improvement requirements.
8.- Ensure the resolution of product issues within the time determined by the organization, verifying that all relevant areas are involved.
9.- Approve investment projects related to the development of new products or process improvements, verifying that all documentary, financial, and business case support is in place to generate value for the business strategy.
10.- Manage the budget assigned to the area according to the needs and required approvals, seeking its effective application based on the area's Profit Plan.
11.- Develop organizational capabilities within the team to foster constant talent development, promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, improve staff sense of belonging, and achieve organizational objectives.
12.- Adhere to policies and procedures based on applicable management systems (EQMS, MESH Authorized Economic Operator (OEA), ATEX and IEC Ex guidelines as applicable, and ISO-9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 standards) to comply with the Management System (SG).
