The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for leading daily logistics operations, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective material flow across receiving, shipping, warehousing, internal logistics, and customer delivery processes.
This role ensures alignment between production requirements, customer commitments, inventory accuracy, transportation execution, and internal logistics performance.

The position requires strong leadership, operational discipline, problem-solving capability, and close coordination with Planning, Customer Service, Warehouse, Traffic, Purchasing, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams.
What You Will Do
- Supervise daily logistics activities including receiving, shipping, warehouse execution, material handling, inventory movements, and internal material flow.
- Ensure on-time delivery performance to automotive customers while maintaining compliance with customer-specific requirements.
- Coordinate priorities with Production Planning, Customer Service, Traffic, Warehouse, and Operations to support shipment execution.
- Monitor logistics KPIs including OTD, shipment adherence, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock, cycle count performance, freight cost, premium freight, and logistics productivity.
- Lead and develop logistics personnel, ensuring adequate staffing, training, discipline, and performance management.
- Drive compliance with Molex, customer, customs, trade, safety, CTPAT/OEA, and automotive quality system requirements.
- Support inventory control processes including cycle counts, physical inventories, discrepancy resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Identify and eliminate logistics process gaps using Lean, problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Escalate risks related to customer shipments, material shortages, system discrepancies, logistics constraints, or operational bottlenecks.
- Support audits, corrective actions, standard work, and internal controls related to logistics and warehouse operations.
- Partner with Finance and Supply Chain teams to reduce freight cost, premium freight, inventory exposure, and operational waste.
- Manage logistics budget and reporting to different levels in the organization.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
- At least 3 years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience in automotive, electronics, manufacturing, maquiladora operations, or customs broker preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Understanding of warehouse management, shipping processes, inventory control, and customer delivery execution.
- English proficiency required.
- Experience managing 3PLs, domestic and international.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with automotive customer requirements, IATF 16949 environments, MMOG/LE, EDI, ASN, and customer portals.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, standard work, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with CTPAT/OEA, IMMEX, import/export, and customs-related logistics processes.
- Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
- Experience managing 3PLs, domestic and international.
- Proficient in SAP.
