About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Data & Benefits Analyst to join our growing Medical Stop‑Loss (MSL) Operations team. This entry‑level role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in benefits administration, policy review, and data accuracy — and who are eager to build a long‑term career in the rapidly evolving self‑funded insurance space.
This position is perfect for:

The Analyst will review, validate, and enter benefit and policy data across multiple systems, supporting underwriting, quoting, and claims workflows throughout the MSL lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams in the U.S. and Mexico to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Benefits Review & Validation
- Analyze plan documents, summaries of benefits, and RFP materials for accuracy and completeness.
Data Entry & Quality Control
- Enter and maintain policy, census, and claims data in internal platforms with precision and consistency.
System Updates & Corrections
- Identify discrepancies, validate data, and proactively correct errors across systems.
Reporting & Tracking
- Prepare daily and weekly status reports including productivity metrics and quality scores.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with leads, underwriters, and cross‑functional teams to clarify benefit interpretations and resolve questions.
Process Improvement
- Contribute ideas to enhance workflows and support automation and AI‑driven initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
- Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, Insurance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Technical trade experience with a high school diploma will also be considered.
Experience
- 1+ year of experience in benefits administration, insurance data entry, or healthcare operations.
- Medical stop‑loss or self‑funded benefits experience strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong keyboarding skills (45+ WPM) with high accuracy.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency required.
