Help Build the Financial Operations Behind the Mission
At FLF, exceptional client outcomes begin with exceptional financial operations.
As our organization continues to grow, we rely on strong accounting systems, operational controls, and financial oversight to ensure accuracy, optimize cash flow, and support sustainable business growth.
We are seeking an experienced Managing Accountant to lead critical financial operations, strengthen internal controls, optimize accounts receivable processes, and develop scalable accounting systems that empower leadership with greater financial visibility and operational efficiency.
If you're passionate about accounting, financial operations, process improvement, and building systems that drive organizational success, we'd love to hear from you.
Why This Role Matters
As our Managing Accountant, you will serve as a trusted financial operations leader responsible for overseeing accounting workflows, strengthening internal controls, and supporting the firm's revenue realization strategy.
This is far more than a traditional Accounts Receivable role. Because contingency-fee settlements involve evolving timelines, changing case valuations, and complex financial transactions, you'll combine advanced accounting expertise, operational oversight, forecasting, and strategic communication to help ensure financial accuracy and organizational performance.
Your work will directly influence financial integrity, cash flow forecasting, operational efficiency, and executive decision-making while helping build the accounting infrastructure that supports the firm's continued growth.

Medical Balance Negotiation & Revenue Recovery
- Manage high-priority or escalated medical balance negotiations with providers and lien holders.
- Negotiate financial settlements that support timely case resolution and maximize revenue recovery.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure financial obligations are resolved efficiently.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and reporting throughout the negotiation process.
Cross-Functional Financial Partnership
- Partner with Legal, Operations, Negotiations, and Executive Leadership to improve financial workflows.
- Drive accountability across departments by ensuring adherence to financial processes and timelines.
