We are seeking a talented individual to join our Information Technology team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This position is for a productive professional individual contributor in Information Technology, who works independently with minimal supervision. You will be part of a large team across AUS, UK, Canada & US responsible for significant databases & projects related to our PostgreSQL environment. We are offering an emerging and varied role and responsibilities in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
We will count on you to:
- Have experience installing PostgreSQL on Linux servers.
- Have hands on experience creating PostgreSQL databases and objects.
- Create, update, and drop users and roles.
- Understand PostgreSQL backup and recovery processes.
- Work closely with an offshore team to ensure smooth transition of work handover.
- Demonstrate proficiency in communication and a good level of English.
What you need to have:
- At least 2+ years of PostgreSQL experience.
- Experience planning and executing installation of PostgreSQL server.
- Experience implementing backup and recovery.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
