As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Managing Litigation Attorney who combines legal expertise with operational excellence to lead our litigation department. You'll work closely with attorneys, legal staff, operations, and executive leadership to optimize workflows, strengthen accountability, and elevate the performance of our litigation team.

What You'll Do
Litigation Operations & Workflow Management
- Lead and optimize litigation workflows across all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation through trial preparation.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve department SOPs, workflows, and operational playbooks.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvements.
- Coordinate attorneys, paralegals, case managers, and support staff to ensure efficient case progression.
Leadership & Team Performance
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing litigation teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and professional development initiatives.
- Promote operational excellence while maintaining high levels of employee engagement.
Data Analytics & Business Performance
- Monitor litigation KPIs, attorney productivity, case progression, and departmental performance.
- Develop executive dashboards and operational reports using Filevine and business intelligence tools.
- Analyze trends, identify improvement opportunities, and present actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance, productivity, and operational consistency.
Project Management & Continuous Improvement
- Lead strategic initiatives that improve litigation operations, workflow automation, and department efficiency.
- Manage cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
- Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Data, and Executive Leadership to support organizational growth.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement throughout the litigation department.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with litigation deadlines, internal procedures, and quality standards.
- Conduct quality assurance audits across active litigation files.
- Develop corrective action plans and operational improvements where needed.
- Maintain accountability for documentation accuracy and workflow integrity.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Attorney with strong litigation experience.
- 5–7+ years of leadership experience within litigation, legal operations, or high-volume legal environments.
- Experience managing teams of 15–20 or more legal professionals.
- Strong understanding of litigation workflows and legal operations.
- Advanced experience with Filevine or similar legal case management platforms.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Professional proficiency in English with outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation.
- Experience implementing operational improvements and workflow automation.
- Advanced proficiency in business intelligence, dashboard reporting, SQL, or advanced Excel.
- Experience utilizing automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or Microsoft Power Automate.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar project management certifications.
