Junior Field Service Technician (Mexico to U.S. Relocation Program)
Purpose of Role:
Start your career as a Junior Field Service Technician at INNIO Jenbacher! You will be trained to be at the forefront of commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting our advanced Jenbacher gas engines and sustainable energy solutions. After an intensive training phase in Mexico of approximately 12-18 months, the goal is to relocate to the U.S., where you will work directly with our customers, ensuring the reliable operation of our energy systems. The relocation will take place upon successful approval of the U.S. work permit, which we will organize for you as part of a comprehensive relocation package. You will benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities and grow your career in an international environment.
Essential Responsibilities:

Commission Jenbacher gas engines, generators, and switchgear (low- and medium-voltage) on-site with customers.

Analyze and resolve technical issues on Jenbacher and customer plant components.

Perform repairs, retrofits, and scheduled maintenance.

Deliver clear, concise, and timely professional service reports after each assignment.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Coordination with the responsible area to keep tools calibrated.

Strictly adhere to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
Qualifications / Requirements:

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong technical and analytical skills, and openness to hands-on tasks such as wiring panels and alternators

Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, interface, and mechanical drawings

Basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC)

Confident, independent, and resilient personality

Good English skills (spoken and written)

Willingness to travel (including internationally) for several weeks at a time; high flexibility

Valid driver’s license
Compensation: 200.000 MXN annual salary plus all applicable benefits for Mexico
