Pest emergencies don't wait for business hours — and neither do our customers. We're looking for a reliable, personable phone sales rep to own our evening and weekend call line, turning after-hours calls into booked services and signed maintenance plans.
About the Role
You'll be the voice of EcoFusion during evenings and weekends, working independently from home on a set schedule. Success in this role looks like: every call handled professionally and by the book, accurate quotes given every time, complete call notes logged without fail, and a steady stream of maintenance plan sign-ups. This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement, not an employee position.
Schedule
- Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET
Approximately 24 hours per week. Schedule changes and time off are coordinated in advance with your manager.
What You'll Do
- Handle inbound and outbound after-hours and weekend phone sales calls following our Phone Sales Ops Playbook.
- Diagnose the caller's pest issue and follow the appropriate call path for light/standard pests versus infesting pests.
- Quote standardized phone pricing for one-time service, maintenance plans, and bait/trap placement — no improvising outside the published price list.
- Sign up eligible single-family customers for maintenance plans, earning commission on every completed sign-up.
- Log complete, accurate call notes and customer details in our field service system for every call.
- Escalate pricing or policy questions outside the playbook to your manager rather than guessing.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Comfortable working a consistent weeknight-evening and weekend schedule.
- Strong phone communication skills — clear, friendly, and confident closing a sale.
- A reliable home setup: phone/headset, computer, and internet connection.
- Comfortable following a structured script and documenting every call in detail.
Preferred:
- Customer service or sales experience — retail, hospitality, call center, or similar.
- Experience with CRM or field service software.
Compensation
- $4.00/hour (USD) for scheduled call time.
- Plus a $25.00 commission for each single-family maintenance plan you sign up over the phone.
- Paid twice monthly (14th and 28th) via wire transfer.
This is an independent contractor engagement — you're responsible for your own taxes and equipment, and it does not include employee benefits.
