Position Summary
The Enrollment Specialist, International is responsible for driving the growth, rapid qualification, and enrollment conversion of the university’s global prospective student pipeline. This role focuses purely on aggressive outbound lead generation, multi-channel inquiry cultivation, and the execution of targeted follow-up workflows within international markets. Utilizing deep cross-cultural competence and bilingual agility, the Specialist manages international inquiries, conducts baseline programmatic eligibility screenings of non-US academic backgrounds, and guides global prospects directly through the conversion funnel to meet institutional enrollment goals.
Responsibilities
- Targeted Global Follow-Up: Execute rapid, high-frequency follow-up workflows for international and multi-lingual inquiries who have requested information, driving them immediately toward application submission.
- International Lead Generation: Execute targeted outbound communication campaigns via phone, email, and digital channels to identify, source, and engage prospective students across specific international target markets.
- Enrollment Conversion Execution: Manage prospective international students through the entire front-end enrollment funnel, overcoming cross-cultural objections to successfully turn raw leads into registered students.
- Preliminary Record Screening: Conduct initial, baseline screenings of international academic records and non-US transcripts to determine immediate programmatic eligibility prior to advancing prospects through the sales funnel.
- Cross-Cultural Pipeline Development: Cultivate relationship pipelines with international inquiries, leveraging deep cultural competence to establish rapid brand trust and capture high-intent academic prospects.
- Multi-Lingual Campaign Optimization: Translate, tailor, and deliver persuasive recruitment messaging to overcome regional linguistic barriers and maximize conversion rates among non-native English speakers.
- Regional Market Sourcing: Research, identify, and exploit new lead acquisition channels within assigned international territories to constantly feed the university's prospective applicant pool.
- Localized Outreach Frameworks: Coordinate and spearhead virtual international student fairs, global informational webinars, and regional educational networks to source high-volume lead blocks.
- CRM Lead Campaign Management: Maintain meticulous, real-time records of international leads within the university’s database, segmenting pipelines to maximize daily outbound dials and follow-up efficiency.
- Compliance & Privacy Adherence: Ensure all international digital outreach, lead capture, and recruitment activities comply strictly with regional data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and university acquisition guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education & Territory Alignment: Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing, Cross-Cultural Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience in international talent acquisition.
- Global Recruitment Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of proven, metrics-driven experience in international higher education recruitment, overseas lead generation, or high-volume cross-border sales operations.
- Linguistic & Communication Agility: Native or professional bi-lingual/multi-lingual proficiency, paired with exceptional persuasive written and verbal English communication skills tailored to global audiences.
- Foreign Credential Literacy: Demonstrated capability to read and quickly interpret international grading scales and foreign secondary education systems for immediate programmatic placement screening.
- Operational Autonomy: Proven capability to work independently within an international remote environment, hit aggressive outbound performance metrics, and successfully execute regional enrollment strategies.
