Production Manager
A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and ensure the achievement of production, quality, safety, delivery, and productivity objectives through the efficient management of human, material, and operational resources.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading production operations, developing the team, and promoting a results-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement and compliance with established standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise production activities.
- Ensure compliance with production schedules in terms of timing, quantity, and quality.
- Efficiently manage assigned human, material, and equipment resources.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze key production performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify deviations and develop action plans to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement, waste reduction, and process optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate activities with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety, Planning, and Human Resources departments.
- Ensure compliance with procedures, internal policies, and safety standards.
- Develop, evaluate, and strengthen the skills and capabilities of team members.
- Promote a culture of operational discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in the implementation and follow-up of process improvement projects.
- Prepare and present performance reports to Management.
- Identify operational risks and establish preventive and corrective actions.
- Follow up on department objectives and ensure their achievement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in management or supervisory positions within production/manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience leading and managing work teams.
- Experience in manufacturing and production environments.
- Knowledge of production, productivity, and efficiency indicators.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of tools such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Conversational English is required, with the ability to participate in meetings, calls, and operational communications.
- Availability to work on-site.
- Availability to respond to operational needs associated with the position.
