What You Will Do
- Configure and generate new part numbers, ensuring correct integration into manufacturing systems (SAP, MES, PLM).
- Manage and control materials for new products and engineering changes from scratch.
- Interpret technical drawings and documentation for proper implementation in the plant.
- Lead the implementation of engineering changes and maintain traceability in ERP and PLM systems.
- Serve as the key contact for digital transformation initiatives and support the execution of key area and plant initiatives.
- Standardize documentation and product records for different part number families.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and resolve product performance issues and ensure successful product launches.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Physics, Photonics, Mechatronics, or related).
- 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with BOM management, engineering change management, and technical drawing interpretation.
- Proficiency with Product Life-Cycle Management Systems and MRP (SAP).
- Advanced English (professional proficiency).
- Strong organization, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in the automotive or electronics industry.
- Knowledge or experience with Optical Fiber assemblies.
- Experience in NPI engineering or PLM roles.
- Familiarity with labeling software (LabelView, Bartender, Loftware).
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
