What will you do?
Lead and implement the following pillars for all SIEMENS Suppliers: Quality culture, continuous improvement, Technologies Innovations & Environmental Sustainability.
- Execute SQM-Check
- Organize Technical Review
- Audit supplier.
- Supplier technical qualification and development
- Material qualification & production release
- Support First Article Inspection
- Supplier Claim Management (notice, 8D validation, deviation verification)
- Supplier Risk & Performance mgmt.
- Evaluate supplier risk (SCRM)
- Implement measurement methods (SQPC)
- Participate on daily actions meetings related to production.
- Active participation with multidisciplinary team to conduct a proper problem resolution.
Additional responsibilities (added to strengthen scope):
- Manage and develop suppliers with special manufacturing processes such as painting/coating, machining, cutting, bending, punching and welding
- Review and validate supplier process capability (Cp/Cpk), control plans and special characteristics
- Drive preventive quality activities through early supplier involvement and risk-based thinking
- Support supplier continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery, and cost reduction
- Ensure robustness of suppliers’ industrialization processes and process parameter controls for serial production
- Act as quality interface between Supplier, Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing
What will you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree (Electrical, Mechatronic, Automation, Industrial Eng.)
- 2 years SQE/SQA experience minimum or in similar position (Quality department).
- Basic Knowledge on RCA (Ishikawa, 5-Whys)
- Basic Knowledge problem-solving (8D, A3)
- Basic Knowledge Mechanical Drawings interpretation
- Basic Knowledge on quality tools such as SPC, Pareto, Histogram.
- Some Experience with APQP & PPAP
- Strong negotiation skills
- Business English advanced
