Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sr Quality System Engineer.
Job Summary:
The Quality System Engineer Senior provides leadership and technical expertise in the deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and corporate requirements, while driving process discipline, product integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, deploy, and continuously improve the Quality Management System across the organization by guiding cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Act as system owner for ISO 9001 standards, ensuring compliance, sustainability, and readiness for certifications and audits.
- Define strategies to meet customer, regulatory, and corporate quality requirements while improving process effectiveness and efficiency.
- Coordinate, deploy, support and maintain the Eaton Quality Management System in the organization by leading cross-functional teams in order to achieve operational excellence.
- Coordinate, deploy, support and maintain the implementation of LPA process in the organization
- Coordinate and lead internal and external audits for ISO 9001 standards compliance
- Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions and/or opportunities identified at the internal assessments, quality ISO 9001 audits and monthly performance operation review.
- Coordinate and direct the organization’s activities to meet customer and regulatory requirements and improve its effectiveness and efficiency on a continuous basis.
- Ensure process discipline, identify risks and opportunities, take necessary actions, quickly address issues, and achieve desired levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure data integrity by recording all changes and signatures compliance with requirements.
- Mentor and support junior quality engineers and auditors, promoting best practices and organizational capability building.
Education Level:
Bachelor’s degree Engineering, business administration or other science.
Years and Area of Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Engineering, or similar roles.
Demonstrated experience leading audits, managing QMS deployments, and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge and interpretation of ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Experience leading internal and external audits.
- Certfied as internal auditor leader (preferred).
- Solid understanding of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).
- Certified as internal auditor in IATF-16949 (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- English proficiency at an advanced level (spoken and written).
- Strategic thinking and systems mindset.
- Strong leadership and influence without direct authority.
- Proven ability to drive results and build organizational capability.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- High sense of ownership, accountability, and decision-making ability.
