About the role
As a Specialist, Distribution Centers Order Management, you will drive Distribution Centers on-time-delivery for the HVAC business in North America. Partnering closely with SIOP, Customer Services, and Manufacturing, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient order management to optimize revenue recognition while delivering world-class customer satisfaction. In this onsite role in Monterrey, MX, you will orchestrate process optimization and daily execution for order management across Transportation and multiple Distribution Centers in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
As a Specialist, Distribution Centers Order Management, you'll be responsible for:
- Drive customer on-time-delivery and past due metrics, aligned with customer expectations, while championing a customer-centric culture.
- Proactively identify orders that will be at risk, driving actions to mitigate, and prioritize units in-transit allocated to customer orders.
- Partner with customer services to manage escalations and priorities, and align daily and monthly capacity with SIOP and Distribution Centers.
- Drive cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency, fostering strong relationships to ensure smooth integration between customer services, manufacturing, DCs, and transportation.
- Analyze data and regularly report on operational performance to executive management, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are analytical, customer-centric, collaborative, and excellent problem-solvers. If this is you, get in touch. As a minimum you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in order management, customer fulfillment, supply chain management, transportation, or operations, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
- Experience coordinating logistics and order fulfillment across multiple borders (United States, Mexico, and Canada).
- Prior experience partnering directly with SIOP and Manufacturing teams to manage capacity planning.
- Advanced capability in data analysis tools to predict order delays and build proactive recovery plans.
