Position Overview
We are looking for a Process & Customer Quality Engineer to join our Quality team.
This position will be responsible for monitoring and improving manufacturing quality processes, supporting customer requirements, analyzing quality issues, and coordinating corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements.
- Analyze defects and implement corrective and preventive actions using 5 Why, Fishbone, PFMEA and other problem-solving tools.
- Monitor SPC, Cp/Cpk, PPM, VOC and quality KPIs.
- Support PPAP, Run at Rate, Trial Runs, engineering changes and new product launches.
- Coordinate containment and corrective actions for internal and customer quality issues.
- Support MSA, Gage R&R and calibration activities.
- Conduct and support process, internal and external audits under IATF 16949.
- Prepare 8D reports, PPAP documentation, quality reports and improvement plans.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Supplier Quality teams.
- Support customer visits, audits and technical meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Previous experience in a Quality department is a plus.
- Knowledge and/or experience with IATF 16949.
- Knowledge of Problem Solving methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Minitab.
- Advanced English
- Proactive, team-oriented, confident and willing to learn.
