SITE & MANUFACTURING SUPPORT - LEVEL II
In addition to all Level I responsibilities, Level II resources will perform the following tasks:
a. End User Support
- Provide Level II desktop/end-user support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support imaging, deployment, and configuration of end-user devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices)
- Handle escalations from Level I support and resolve complex end-user tickets
- Support printer, peripheral, and local device troubleshooting
- Assist with account/access provisioning and de-provisioning for end users
- Support VIP/executive end-user support as needed
- Ensure timely ticket resolution in line with agreed SLAs
b. Server Support
- Assist with server installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Support server upgrades
- Perform approved end-user account maintenance
- Assist with backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Support resolution of server hardware and application issues
- Detect, diagnose, and report application-related problems
- Install software releases, system upgrades, and patches
c. Network and Network Management Support
- Perform approved network administration tasks (planned or emergency)
- Assist with network installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Support resolution of network hardware and performance issues
d. Project Management
- Facilitate change-management processes with GE Vernova
- Evaluate technologies and tools and provide recommendations aligned with GE Vernova standards
- Establish and document standards and procedures for management review
- Maintain data, software, hardware security, and emergency procedures
