We are looking for a Chief QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of quality assurance for an enterprise AI platform built around MCP (Model Context Protocol) Servers. This opportunity suits a technically driven professional who enjoys blending quality engineering expertise with exposure to emerging AI systems. You will hold a key responsibility in verifying the accuracy and stability of sophisticated, agent-oriented architectures. This position offers a unique opportunity to lay the groundwork for testing standards on an innovative AI platform right from the start.
Responsibilities

Review product and architectural documentation to craft the QA strategy and define testing boundaries for AI solutions built on MCP

Develop and program Python-based automated testing suites spanning MCP Servers, tools, resources, APIs, and associated integrations

Verify accurate MCP protocol operation, encompassing tool discovery and execution, schema checks, error management, authentication/authorization, and integration testing

Investigate agent-to-MCP-to-tool sequences, covering successful, unsuccessful, boundary, breakdown, and security-focused test conditions

Evaluate the stability, performance, scalability, and readiness for production of MCP-based services

Set up quality gates and weave automated testing directly into CI/CD processes

Identify emerging quality issues, analyze the root causes of test failures, and work alongside developers and architects to resolve them
Requirements

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, showcasing the ability to independently drive test strategy and quality assurance efforts

At least 2 years spent guiding and supervising development teams

In-depth, practical understanding of MCP Server/Model Context Protocol and its structural design

Strong hands-on Python automation background, including direct experience with API and integration testing

Experience validating distributed backend systems, APIs, microservices, and their interconnections

Solid comprehension of GenAI/LLM and agent-driven architectures, including agents, tools, prompts, and MCP-related integrations

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and current automated testing approaches

Keen analytical capabilities with the skill to translate requirements and architectural concepts into detailed test scenarios

Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)

Practical familiarity with GitHub for managing version control, enabling team collaboration, and structuring test automation code

Experience leveraging Kubernetes to validate and test the behavior of containerized applications and services
