Job Description:
This position is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional with strong expertise in CNC programming, sheet metal fabrication, punching, bending, and tooling. You will lead process improvements, optimize manufacturing performance, support quality initiatives, and ensure safe and efficient production of metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for sheet metal fabrication operations.

Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment including punching, laser cutting, and press brake machines.

Support production by improving machine utilization, cycle times, productivity, and process efficiency.

Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Analyze manufacturing issues related to tooling, machine performance, and product quality, implementing corrective actions when required.

Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to support new product introductions and process validation.

Drive improvements in sheet metal manufacturing technologies, including bending, punching, cutting, and forming operations.

Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures.

Present and lead technical projects related to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.

Support safety compliance and risk reduction initiatives associated with manufacturing equipment and tooling.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role within a metalworking, sheet metal, fabrication, or metal-mechanical manufacturing environment.

Strong hands-on experience with CNC programming and CNC manufacturing equipment.

Solid knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes including:

CNC Punching

Press Brake / Bending Operations

Tooling and Dies
-
Experience supporting production environments with high-volume manufacturing.

Knowledge of quality requirements related to tooling, fabrication, and sheet metal production.

Experience leading process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

English proficiency required.

Ability to communicate technical concepts and present manufacturing projects to cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience with sheet metal manufacturing environments.

Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming platforms.

Experience introducing new equipment, tooling, or manufacturing technologies.

Exposure to automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives within metal fabrication operations.
We are looking for a highly technical Manufacturing Engineer with a strong metalworking background, deep expertise in CNC programming, and extensive knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes such as punching, bending, cutting, and forming. The successful candidate will be comfortable working directly on the shop floor, driving process improvements, and leading projects that improve manufacturing performance, quality, and safety.
