INDUSTRIAL SAFETY ENGINEER
We are looking for an Industrial Safety Engineer with 2–4 years of experience, with a strong focus on Industrial Safety and Occupational Health.
The main objective of this position is to ensure compliance with EHS requirements, identify and mitigate workplace risks, strengthen the safety culture, and ensure proper follow-up of preventive and corrective actions.
Important: The ideal candidate should have significantly more experience in Industrial Safety than in Environmental matters.

Implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with legal and corporate requirements.

Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and workplace safety audits.

Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Coordinate and deliver employee training related to occupational safety, risk prevention, and emergency preparedness.

Maintain accurate EHS documentation, records, and reports.

Ensure compliance with Mexican STPS regulations and applicable safety requirements.

Coordinate inspections, audits, and interactions with government authorities and external auditors.

Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on workplace safety and EHS performance.

Support HR and Operations with EHS-related and administrative activities.

Coordinate facility-related vendors and service providers when required.

Maintain company records, documentation, and administrative information with accuracy and confidentiality.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, EHS, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

2–4 years of professional experience in EHS, Industrial Safety, or Occupational Health.

Strong hands-on experience in Industrial Safety.

Knowledge of Mexican STPS regulations and workplace safety requirements.

Experience conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident/accident investigations.

Experience coordinating or delivering safety training.

Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and other departments.

Advanced English — mandatory. The candidate must be able to communicate fluently and without difficulty in meetings, conversations, and day-to-day work situations.

EHS certifications or training such as OSHA, NEBOSH, STPS, ISO 45001 and 14001.

Experience in manufacturing such as; foundry, machining, or other industrial environments.

Experience with ClickUp or other project/task management platforms.

Familiarity with ERP, MES, or QMS systems.

Experience coordinating with government agencies and external auditors.

Experience leading safety culture initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
