Position Summary
We are seeking a Parker Hannifin is seeking a Technical Sales Representative / Territory Manager to drive growth for our Automation solutions portfolio, including motion and control technologies, pneumatic automation, and electromechanical automation products and systems.
This role is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships across an assigned territory, supporting OEMs, direct accounts, and distribution partners, and delivering technical sales support that aligns customer application needs with Parker’s automation capabilities. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial discipline with hands-on technical consultation to achieve sales, margin, and customer development objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets for Parker-Hannifin Automation solutions.

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, account development, and application discovery.

Manage and grow relationships with OEM customers, direct accounts, distributors, integrators, and key decision-makers.

Provide technical consultation on pneumatic, electromechanical, motion, control, and automation system solutions.

Support customers in specifying appropriate products and solutions based on application requirements, performance needs, and value expectations.

Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations, proposals, opportunities, and technical recommendations.

Support distributor sales teams and channel partners through joint sales calls, product training, opportunity development, and pipeline reviews.

Maintain accurate opportunity, account, and activity information using applicable CRM and reporting tools to support sales execution and objective achievement.

Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer needs to support strategic territory planning.

Collaborate with internal engineering, product, customer service, and operations teams to deliver responsive customer support and advance sales opportunities.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience in technical sales, territory management, account management, or business development within industrial automation or related markets.

Working knowledge of pneumatic automation, electromechanical systems, motion control, valves, actuators, controls, or integrated automation solutions.

Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships, identify application needs, and convert opportunities into profitable sales.

Experience supporting OEM accounts, direct customers, and distributor channels preferred.

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate product value and application benefits to engineering, purchasing, maintenance, and executive stakeholders.

Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline, follow up on quotations, and achieve sales and margin objectives.

Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently within an assigned territory.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; willingness to travel as required to support customers, distributors, and business objectives.
