We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team. This position calls for substantial hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), solid Linux administration know-how, sophisticated automation abilities through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and the capability to architect, deploy, debug, and manage solutions that are scalable, secure, and built to withstand disruption.
Responsibilities

Architect and implement cloud-based infrastructure capable of supporting secure, resilient, and scalable business systems

Develop and sustain automated solutions that simplify provisioning workflows and cut down on manual effort

Track system performance and health indicators, catching and addressing problems proactively before they affect end users
-
Work alongside diverse teams to ensure infrastructure choices support wider organizational and technical objectives
-
Contribute to incident handling processes, covering everything from initial diagnosis to resolution and post-incident review

Help establish and enforce governance policies that apply consistently across cloud platforms

Take part in capacity forecasting and system tuning efforts to guarantee smooth scaling as demand grows

Produce clear documentation covering infrastructure blueprints, workflows, and operational guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing
Requirements
-
At least 2 years of applicable experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including strong capabilities in provisioning, automation, and infrastructure oversight

Deep expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, such as Terraform, plus a track record of creating reusable automation frameworks

Solid skills in cloud-based monitoring, resolving incidents, and fine-tuning system performance

Comprehensive knowledge of governance practices, including access management, tagging conventions, regulatory compliance, and backup/recovery planning

Background working with containerized platforms, such as GKE and Docker, along with routine patch management
-
Dependable Linux administration expertise, covering system setup, ongoing maintenance, and issue resolution to keep infrastructure running smoothly

Sharp system analysis capabilities, with skill in assessing infrastructure output and spotting opportunities for improvement or risk reduction

Strong ability to lead and work collaboratively, including mentoring less experienced colleagues and facilitating communication across teams

Working knowledge of cost management strategies for cloud platforms, including reviewing and acting on usage patterns

Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)

Background using Dagster to coordinate and supervise data pipeline operations

Exposure to Kubernetes for managing and deploying containerized workloads

Capability with Pandas for performing data analysis and manipulation tasks

Background with ReactJS for creating front-end elements that connect to backend infrastructure

Working knowledge of TypeScript for building type-safe applications across the front end or full stack

Experience with dbt for modeling and transforming data within analytical pipelines

Domain knowledge in finance, particularly within Payments or Treasury, to add valuable context to technical work
