This is a high-impact, hands-on Finance leadership position. The succesful candidate will act as a trusted financial advisor to the Country Manager while maintaining direct ownership of the company's financial, accounting, tax, reporting and planning activities. Key Responsibilities
Own and oversee the financial performance of the Mexico operation, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow; Act as a trusted business partner and financial advisor to the Country Manager and local leadership team; Lead the annual budget, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting processes; Analyze business performance, profitability, cost structure and key financial KPI's, providing actionable recommendations to management; Oversee monthly and year-end closing processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting; Ensure compliance with Mexican statutory accounting and tax requirements; Coordinate external auditors, tax advisors and other specialized external providers; Maintain effective relationships with banks, financial institutions and other external stakeholders; Monitor working capital, cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory; Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations and transfer pricing activities; Ensure appropriate internal controls and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations; Partner closely with Regional Finance and European headquarters on reporting, planning and financial matters; Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, systems and overall business performance; Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, Legal, It and other areas.
Requirements, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; approximately 7* years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting or Controlling roles; experience in a multinational environment, preferably with an international / European headquarters; strong experience across FP&A, financial controlling, accounting, cash flow and business partnering, solid knowledge of Mexican tax and statutory requirements, experience with intercompany transactions and transfer pricing; experience with SAP or another major ERP system.
