This engineering position is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the integrity and functionality of robotic and automation systems for the manufacturing process on a daily basis. Experience and Education
Engineering degree (Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electronics)
PLC experience: Allen Bradley and Siemens preferred
Experience with software applications
Fanuc robotics experience
1-3 years of experience in a similar position Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications
Bilingual (80% English and Spanish), both verbal and written
Programming languages: RsLogix, Python, Java
Communication protocols: TCP/IP, Serial, industrial protocols
Application development
SQL databases
Six Sigma methodologies
Ability to read electrical, electronic, and pneumatic schematics
Electrical controls Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, implementing, and updating Robotic and Automation Systems (hardware, software, and programming)
Responsible for introducing new software and hardware for production lines
Development and implementation of new technologies
Poka-yoke technology implementations
Strong focus on safety and quality
Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) requirements established for their role in relation to ISO 9001:2015
Comply with the safety rules established according to their role
Complete planned Quality and Training-related training sessions on time
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
