What is your role?
As Trade Compliance Audit Specialist, you will coordinate and manage Corning’s Trade Compliance Audit Program, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and company policies related to HTS Classification, Valuation, Country of Origin, and Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and collaborate with Subject Matter Expertsand cross-functional stakeholders to validate the accuracy of information reported to Customs authorities.
Major responsibilities and tasks of the position:
Execute trade compliance audits in accordance with Corning’s audit policies and procedures, considering risk, transaction value, and volume.
Analyze import and export transactions to ensure compliance with applicable trade regulations.
Partner with stakeholders to validate trade compliance data.
Review HTS Classification, Country of Origin, Valuation, and FTA eligibility.
Collaborate with Regional Business Unit Trade Compliance Managers to drive corrective actions and ensure timely closure of audit findings
Support initiatives that enhance trade compliance processes and reduce organizational risk.
What do you need to have?
Bachelor’s degree required.
2+ years of Trade Compliance and/or Customs experience, including 2+ years of Trade Compliance auditing .
Knowledge of HTS Classification, Country of Origin, Valuation, and Free Trade Agreements (FTA).
Advanced English
