The Bilingual Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services required to support daily manufacturing and operational activities. This position ensures timely purchasing processes through effective communication, negotiation, and follow-up with both domestic and international suppliers. The Buyer will work closely with production, warehouse, and administrative departments to maintain proper inventory levels and support operational continuity.
Key responsibilities include preparing and processing purchase orders, obtaining and analyzing supplier quotations, negotiating pricing and delivery terms, tracking shipments, and ensuring materials arrive according to production schedules. The position also requires maintaining accurate purchasing records, updating reports, and monitoring pending orders and critical materials.
The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Effective written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish is essential, as regular interaction with international suppliers and corporate personnel is required.
The Buyer must demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented mindset. Experience using administrative systems and Microsoft Office tools is required. This position also supports supplier development initiatives and contributes to continuous improvement within the purchasing department while maintaining company standards for quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
