We are searching for a Junior Test Automation Engineer in Java with a passion for quality and a solid foundation in software testing. In this role, you will design, execute, and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, and/or mobile platforms. You'll work closely with agile teams, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software while continuously improving our testing processes.

Responsibilities

Design functional and automated test cases based on business requirements and user stories

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications

Execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and analyze the results

Identify functional, end-to-end, and regression testing scenarios

Perform API testing to validate integrations and data flows
-
Analyze logs and execution evidence to troubleshoot issues

Report, document, and track defects through resolution

Prioritize testing efforts based on business criticality

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders in an agile environment
Requirements
-
1+ years of experience in software testing
-
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
-
Intermediate programming skills in Java (or JavaScript, Python, or C#)

Experience testing APIs using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools

Working knowledge of Git and version control practices

Experience running tests within CI/CD pipelines

Familiarity with test automation frameworks

Basic to intermediate SQL skills

Experience using defect tracking tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar

Strong ability to understand and interpret requirements and user stories
