You will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing Production Planning, SIOP, and Materials Management processes. You will ensure that our production schedules are efficient, meet customer demand, and are aligned with our business objectives. You will drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within the Production Planning team.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our production operations, ensuring we meet our delivery commitments while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of proven success in various roles within transportation or logistics, demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing planning, and supply chain planning and execution
- Ability to read and understand basic procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Material Master parameters (SMK, PDT, TRLT, SS, COV, etc.).
- BOM (Bill of Materials) interpretation.
- Experience implementing material replenishment systems (Kanban, Min/Max, etc.).
- Experience using ERP systems, SAP, and RR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Knowledge of inventory control systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop short-, medium-, and long-term production plans.
- Monitor the weekly production plan based on open production orders, aligned with capacity and customer expedites, as well as track adherence to the plan across all areas.
- Follow up on critical priorities and escalations until orders are shipped to transportation companies and ultimately delivered to our customers.
- Own and be accountable for planning metrics such as:
- OTTR (On Time to Request)
- OTTP (On Time to Promise)
- Implement corrective actions to ensure goals and targets are achieved.
- Ensure timely responses to customer escalations and recovery plans.
- Generate and follow up on shortage reports for Production and Purchasing, keeping stakeholders informed of material status and production shortages.
- Analyze and establish optimal material replenishment quantities within the system.
- Identify alternative uses to reduce the financial impact of inactive, obsolete, and excess (surplus) materials.
- Observe and comply with all Safety and Health policies and regulations.
- Perform any other job-related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
