Our Sourcing team is responsible for supporting manufacturing and business operations through strategic procurement, supplier management, cost optimization, and risk mitigation initiatives. We partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers across North America and globally to ensure the successful delivery of goods and services that support our plants and business functions.

This role supports manufacturing operations, functional departments, and business stakeholders across Mexico by providing sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and cost optimization support.

The position is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, maintaining supplier relationships, supporting procurement compliance processes, leading supplier onboarding activities, and driving continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

The role works closely with Operations, Finance, Engineering, EHS, HR, and plant leadership teams to ensure timely procurement support and uninterrupted business operations.

This position reports to the Lead Sourcing Manager and provides regular updates on sourcing projects, savings performance, supplier performance, procurement compliance, and key business initiatives through periodic reviews, presentations, and management reports.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Commodity Management.

Proven experience leading supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.

Experience managing indirect and/or direct spend categories in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier onboarding, RFQs/RFPs, contract administration, and supplier performance management.

Experience working with ERP and procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, Oracle, SAP, Ariba, or similar platforms).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate pricing, market trends, and total cost of ownership (TCO).

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.

Fluent in English (written and spoken); bilingual English/Spanish preferred for operations supporting Mexico and the United States.

Strong understanding of procurement compliance, commercial terms, risk management, and corporate sourcing policies.
What will your typical day look like?
- Deliver annual cost savings of 5% year-over-year against the assigned spend portfolio.

Drive timely resolution of invoice issues and maintain zero invoices outstanding beyond 30 days.

Support compliance with the company's Payment Accuracy Policy and related procurement processes.

Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements to maximize value while minimizing risk.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and supplier performance initiatives.
