The Proposal and Order Execution Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales process from the request for quotation (RFQ) stage through successful order execution, ensuring accurate, competitive, and compliant technical and commercial proposals. This role also coordinates the transition from proposal to execution by ensuring the effective transfer of information, timely order fulfillment, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Prepare accurate, competitive, and compliant technical and commercial proposals within customer-defined deadlines.

Review and analyze customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to identify technical requirements, commercial considerations, risks, and opportunities.

Coordinate the collection, review, and editing of proposal content by collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Commercial, Legal, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.

Manage all documentation required for the preparation, approval, and submission of proposals.

Develop cost estimates for products, services, and projects, including current material, labor, and other applicable costs.

Track submitted proposals and maintain effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the proposal process.

Facilitate the handover of awarded projects to execution teams, ensuring all technical, commercial, and contractual information is accurately transferred.

Coordinate and monitor customer order execution, ensuring compliance with specifications, delivery schedules, and contractual commitments.

Support the administration and processing of customer orders, including confirmations, amendments, and internal documentation.

Identify, analyze, and resolve issues that may arise during the proposal or order execution phases.

Participate in internal meetings to review the status and progress of proposals, projects, and customer orders.

Maintain accurate records and data within ERP systems and other corporate business applications.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal development and order execution processes.

Promote a culture of safety, compliance, teamwork, and operational excellence, including consideration for others who may be affected by the company's operational activities.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mining Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical proposal development, cost estimating, and/or order execution within an industrial environment.

Experience coordinating projects, customer orders, or commercial operations.

Experience in the mining, cement, mineral processing, or heavy industrial sectors is preferred.

Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar); CRM experience is an advantage.

Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and commercial documentation.

Strong analytical skills with experience in cost estimation and data analysis.
