Data Center Technician

Working hours: 5 days a week × 8 hours, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (overtime and nighttime support may be required in certain situations).
Job Overview: We are looking for a highly responsible and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to join our Infrastructure Operations team. You will be responsible for daily environmental monitoring of the data center, providing maintenance support for servers and network equipment, managing structured cabling, and performing initial troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related issues.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor the data center environment and check the status of equipment;
Assist in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on servers, network equipment, and cooling systems;
Organize and manage cables to ensure they are safe, orderly, and easy to identify.
Installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems;
Identify cables, ports, connections, and infrastructure nodes;
Support data center expansion and infrastructure projects;
Perform basic monitoring of IT and network infrastructure;
Identify and resolve physical connection and cabling issues;
Provide initial support for infrastructure failures;
Event and activity registration;
Follow the standard operating procedures;
Collaborate with the technical team and support team to resolve incidents;
Provide support for the daily operations of mission-critical environments.
Supports basic data center asset management, including asset receiving and issuing, inventory counts, and more.
Job Requirements:
Possess experience in cable management, cabling, and structured cabling;
Possess experience in data center operations and maintenance as well as basic infrastructure monitoring;
Troubleshooting skills for physical connection, cabling, and infrastructure issues;
Possess basic knowledge of IT networks and infrastructure, including knowledge related to IP, VLANs, and network devices.
Understand the physical security standards and organizational operational procedures within data centers;
A technical education background in telecommunications, networking, information technology, or a related field;
Priority will be given to candidates with experience in data centers or technical server rooms;
Possesses teamwork skills and pays attention to detail;
Can work shifts as needed to support operational requirements.
