Lead Quality Assurance (QA) and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities for North American operations, developing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System for a low-volume, highly customized industrial automation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives, corrective actions, root-cause analysis, and lessons-learned activities.
- Act as the quality subject-matter expert with customers, suppliers, engineering teams, and other corporate entities.
- Participate in design reviews, project reviews, and simultaneous engineering meetings to ensure quality standards and best practices.
- Conduct equipment health, reliability, quality, and performance assessments at customer manufacturing facilities.
- Establish and monitor quality, operational, project, and product performance metrics.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Controls, Manufacturing, Project Management, Commissioning, and Service teams.
- Ensure lessons learned and project findings are documented and transferred to future projects.
- Support and supervise personnel involved in maintaining the Quality Management System.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / Professional Engineering Degree – REQUIRED.
- Advanced English proficiency – REQUIRED. The position requires frequent communication with customers and corporate teams in the United States.
- Valid U.S. Visa and Passport – REQUIRED.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in industrial automation environments – REQUIRED, preferably within system integrators, PLC/controls automation service providers, industrial maintenance companies, customized machinery/equipment companies, or related organizations serving manufacturing customers.
- Strong experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) in low-volume, highly customized automation, integration, or industrial service environments.
- Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, Reliability & Maintainability (R&M), and quality/performance metrics.
- Proven experience in leadership, team development, cross-functional collaboration, and customer interaction.
- Experience in automotive and/or semiconductor industries is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of quality methodologies such as 5 Whys, 8D, FMEA, CAPA, Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Travel Requirements
- Availability to travel to the United States approximately 4–5 times per year, primarily to customer manufacturing facilities.
- Trips are generally expected to last approximately 5 days.
