We are seeking a commercially driven and customer-focused leader to join our Marine & Offshore (M&O) business as Commercial Manager – Central & South America North. This role oversees account management across the region to support sustainable margin growth, expand market share, and build long-term customer relationships in alignment with the Area Long Range Plan (LRP). This is a leadership role suited to a commercially driven professional with deep account management experience, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to improve commercial execution within a regional sales environment. You will lead and coach a team while also acting as the account manager for strategic customer accounts, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and consistent commercial execution. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with practical commercial leadership, contributing to opportunity management, sales execution, and customer engagement across diverse markets within Central & South America North.

The role
- Manage account management activities across the region to deliver margin and market share growth aligned with the Area Long Range Plan (LRP).
- Deliver assigned sales, revenue, margin, and cash collection targets across the Marine & Offshore business portfolio.
- Maintain commercial intensity across the team, ensuring effective pipeline management, opportunity conversion, and disciplined sales execution.
- Support regional business growth through active customer engagement, strategic account development, and identification of new commercial opportunities.
- Encourage a customer-first mindset that emphasizes high-quality service and long-term client retention.
- Act as the account manager for assigned key accounts, maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring consistent engagement across all stages of the customer lifecycle.
- Develop trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders, identifying customer needs and aligning solutions to support business objectives.
- Support negotiation and closing activities to secure profitable business outcomes and sustainable growth.
- Personally oversee and coach sales activities for strategic opportunities within the team.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to commercial team members to improve sales capability and performance.
- Promote teamwork, productive work habits, and knowledge sharing across regional and global business functions.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and sales activity tracking to support business planning and performance management.
- Collaborate closely with operational, technical, and commercial stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of customer commitments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance commercial effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and business performance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, governance requirements, and commercial best practices.
- Manage own and team compliance with health and safety rules, systems, and legal requirements, reviewing the health and safety risk register and applying appropriate controls.

- Extensive experience in commercial leadership, account management, sales management, or business development within a customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrated experience delivering sales, revenue, margin, and growth targets across regional or international markets.
- Experience managing strategic customer relationships and leading commercial opportunities through to closure.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing effective teams within a commercially focused environment.
- Solid commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and deliver profitable business outcomes.
- Highly developed skills in managing customer relationships and engaging stakeholders.
- Leadership and coaching capabilities with the ability to motivate teams and promote accountability.
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with skilled planning, forecasting, and opportunity management capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively across diverse cultures and regional markets.
- Proficiency in the Spanish language.
- Based within Latin America with the ability and willingness to travel across the Central & South America North region as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
