Continental was a nice place to work, you could make a career in the company, meet and work with people from around the world, good pay, good benefits. Good coworkers in general.
There were excellent bosses and terrible bosses.
Some members of the management at some plants in other locations were abusive, untochable, doing what they wanted with employees, causing a stressing environment sometimes. Very dissapointed about compliance policies because they never stopped those people eventhough they were aware of those situations.
Se realiza apoyo de consulta con la Dra. en turno se administran medicamentos a trabajadores asi como atención a enfermeria, manejo de trabajadores que sufren accidentes, incidentes y primeros auxilios, se aprende lo administrativo, se ubica en el eje 114, la parte mas dificil son los horarios y lo que mas me gusto del trabajo es el ambiente laboral con las enfermeras con las que se trabaja y la experiencia como enfermera laboral.
En continental es prioridad la producción, hay turnos hasta de 12 horas de lunes a domingo,descansando entre semana, aprendí a identificar y resolver problemas, programar máquinas, producción rápida, lo complicado eran los horarios, en ocasiones los domingos son de 12 horas,no tiene eficacia la área de transporte, estas de pie de 6 a 12 horas, tienen prestaciones buenas y fondo de ahorro

He demands the best of you every day, supports you and encourages you to continue, only sometimes he limits you with tools, or overload of work, that 8 hours do not give you to do everything, it is usually frustrating, but once you master all this, you become a self-taught person, and with your own initiative.

Ambiente de trabajo demasiado toxico
No toman en cuenta tu trabajo para subir ( ambiente machista y misógino), siempre hay discriminación para producción en todo y ni hablar de los pésimos horarios que manejan, ahí solo eres un numero mas, no tienes derecho a expresarte por que te corren

Nem sok emberrel sikerült jó kapcsolatot kialakítani, sőt voltak akik furakodó kompromitálló provokálók akik miatt gondoltam, hogy ki fognak rakni, de ez nem történt meg(+).

Az emberek megfigyelhető módon figyelmet szeretnének kapni:
van aki magában beszél, van aki csak úgy odamond neked valamit, amit nyugtáznál is de közben már témát is váltott, mondassz rá valamit de észre se veszi.
Az emberek megszokták, hogy nem veszik őket észre, ezért ők sem vesznek téged észre. Operátorok jelszava: "Nem azért vagyunk itt, hogy gondolkozzunk hanem, hogy dolgozzunk", és az mindent átitat ami az elején nevetséges később szomorú.
A főnökség folyamatosan hazudik. Előre lépési lehetőséget promozzák ami a valóságban meghallgatást tanítási folyamatot jelent, ami után ugyanannyi pénzért ugyanazt csinálod mint annak előtte.
A főnök ha ígér valami pozitívat az csak rosszat jelent de sosem vontam kérdőre emiatt. Néha elmondta, hogy miért nem történt meg az amit ígért, mintha bocsánatot kért volna de a kifogás annyira átlátszó ordas volt, hogy csak azt vártam fejezze be a mondanivalót, és békében mehessek vissza a helyemre.
Sok az ukrán, velük nem szokott baj lenni.
Egy vezető az adminisztrációval foglalkozik, az igazi főnök pedig sima kollegának van beállítva aki folyamatosan nézi mi történik . (nem besugó, hanem ő az igazi főnök). Ha bármi van a vezető csak végrehajtja a beavatkozást.

Mindössze 2 éves pályafutásom volt a Budapesti Continentalnál. Őszintén azt is csodálom, hogy ennyi ideig kibírtam. A 4 műszakot simán lehetne bírni, de így, hogy folyamatosan ott liheg a nyakadba valamelyik főnök, nem embernek való. Agyilag fárasztó, bár fizikailag sem könnyű. Egy perc alatt csaknem 9-10x csinálod meg ugyanazt a folyamatot. A darabszám hozhatatlan, de ha mégis sikerült, vagy netalántán rekordot is döntesz, oda sem hánynak, nemhogy megköszönjék. Alkalmatlan felsővezetőség (termelésvezetőig alulról felfelé). A sorvezetők a maguk kis 8 általánosukkal hamar elfelejtik hogy valaha operátorok voltak. De többségben napraforgók. A szünet tarthatatlan ha dohányzol, a dohányzó kb. 3 perc sétára található az üzemektől, de ha 9.20kor elhagytad a munkaállomást, akkor ha nem vagy ott 30ra akkor ordibálnak, b*szdmegolnak. Előrejutási lehetőség adott, ezt rendszerint be is promozzák rendesen, csak amikor ott vagy, hogy kioktattak akkor szépen csücsülhetsz vissza az előző helyedre. Majd elővesznek amikor kellesz OP1 fizetésért. Amit nem adnak írásba az nincs. Szavahihetetlenek. Az új kollégák, annyit, ha nem többet keresnek mint a régiek.
Állítólag családbarát cég... Szabit szerettem volna kérni arra az időre amíg a testvérem gyermeket hoz a világra. Pár óráról lett volna szó, mire megkerdezték hogy miért? Fogni akarom a kezét?
Még jó. Rákényszerítenek hogy azt mondd amit hallani akarnak. Hazudni kell. Kötelező. Ha elaludtál akkor nem írhatod azt a késős papírra, hogy elal

A Culture of Conformity, Not Creativity
An outstanding brand with outstanding technical capabilities, poorly led and management at the divisional and business unit levels. I can speak only for my experience in a smaller business unit of the Interior Division of Continental Automotive Systems; this should not be taken as a review of the entire company. The culture is one of conformity, not collaboration, and certainly not creativity. Many of the business units are pitted against one another, with overlapping missions and products; the portfolio strategy in the Interior division is muddled. The environment can be highly political, overly bureaucratic, many executives (especially those of the veteran Siemens-VDO organizations) do not prize experience or creativity. Compensation and benefits are very good, work life balance fairly good. Beware of the "two boss" system, which is part of the regional vs. central (Germany) struggle for direction and control. If the organization as a whole was as concerned with the business as it is with politics, it would be an absolute juggernaut. CEO has recognized many issues needing improvement, and he models good behavior, but in this organization, that good behavior is not modeled two or three levels down, where it needs to be. Very hardworking and talented people on the front lines, especially in Engineering.

DesventajasExpertise and know-how is kept under a bushel by inexperienced political operatives, many of whom are simply there to go along to get along, while their businesses continue on auto-pilot.
1st off let me start off by saying, if you work here be ready. The swings shifts will suck the life out of you. the only people who get days and enjoy every weekend off is everybody in the offices. Management preaches that safety and quality are there number one priority but then they get upset when a line is shut down for quality issues. There are a very slim amount of great employees whom actually take there job serious day in and day out, most of the people there treat the plant like a high school, with constant he said she said drama around the plant. Around 25%-30% of the work force is temporary employees who don't even care to work there, they just needed a job and the temp agency sent them here. Management never stays the same, they are constantly moving people around and half the time the person who gets moved into the position has no idea of what's going on in there department. With all that being said you can still make a career out of it, you have to work hard 90% because you're covering the incompetent employee but the pay is decent and so are the benefits. I learned allot about the tire process and appreciate the opportunities, but in order for the plant to become the flagship structure that they preach about they really need to pay attention to what's going on outside the office.

This place is absolutely terrible!! The managers don't listen to their employees and spend most of their day in meetings. If you try to speak up to offer advice or help, you are told to shut up (and yes my manager has literally said those words to me) and given busy work to occupy your time. If you want to move up and grow in a job, well then keep on searching!! Here they only promote based on tenure and who's in the circle or who's sleeping with the managers. They never consider real qualifications for positions here.
It's nice when a place provides you with the right tools to do your job. Well, they don't do that here!! Here we are constantly using outdated equipment or trying to "repair" machines that are way past their life cycle. And when you do need something, like say a tarp or a trash can (something simple) you are expected to pay for it yourself and never get reimbursed for it.
Are you looking for a place that really values their employees and what they bring to the table? Well keep looking!! Here the managers don't give care about their people. I once had to take time off for funeral and the first question out my managers' mouth was "When can you get back to work?". So sad. So very sad.
All I can say is, don't waste your time!! You will be constantly disappointed!!

As an intern , I had an excellent experience . One of the things that stood out to me the most was the friendly and supportive environment created by my colleagues. From the moment I joined the team, everyone was welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and included.
The work-life balance at XYZ Company was superb. The company emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life, and they provided their employees with flexible schedules that allowed them to accomplish both. As an intern, I was encouraged to take breaks whenever I needed to and was not overburdened with work.
The working pace at XYZ Company was also reasonable. The management was considerate and understood the importance of having a healthy and manageable pace of work. They provided adequate resources and support to ensure that employees could work comfortably and productively.
Overall, my experience at Continental was incredibly positive. The friendly colleagues, good work-life balance, and reasonable working pace made my time there enjoyable and rewarding. I am grateful for the opportunity to intern at such a great company, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and inclusive work environment.
It's not a place I'd ever return to. You get the benefits. You earn pto. If you don't have it and you need a day out you have to borrow against it which seems a poor way to handle it. There are little groups that don't mesh with people and will alienate new hires if they don't like them. Take advantage of that new hire to get away with not having to train them. I got left to do a job with 2 weeks of training on a different line while the "trainer" left me to go chat. Production driven with no inventory in the warehouse on select items so days without work are common. No real formal training that I saw but I wasn't given a specific trainer. I had to bounce around due to them either leaving or not being there. Money and benefits are good. Benefits aren't explained clearly enough and you can't correct or cancel them if you pick the wrong one. Should've never went back after all those years away. Learned real quick how little people there value each other's input or help. Some there know how to exploit the system and not have to be afraid of being fired. They do whatever they want and go about their day

Little to no job security, but great travel benefits
A typical day for me at work would include paperwork and service corrections such as passenger itinerary's, transaction issues, or any such discrepancies in service. Working for Continental, now United Airlines, for thirteen years I learned customer relation skills, working with the customers needs and problem solving issues as they come along. Management has handled issues in service with reasonable fairness, but that can only go so far when company policy is concerned. Over the years my coworkers were like family. I worked well with all my coworkers and helped with general office tasks when needed. I could say the hardest part of my job were the customer complaints. It is a difficult task to tend to everyone's needs, and not all will leave with a sense of satisfaction with the service they were provided, especially if a flight has been canceled. The most enjoyable part of the job I guess are the flying benefits; going anywhere around the world at your leisure, but on standby.

Absolutely no appreciation for staff from management. No matter how hard you work you’re always disregarded and criticised. Any miniscule mistake you make as a rookie is never forgotten whilst the favoured members of staff get away with crashing forklifts, swearing at management and being racist, never hitting targets, having random ‘sick days’ when they’re hungover or cant be bothered working and have no repercussions against them what so ever but if your face doesn’t fit you get punished/disciplined for minor mistakes even if its during your training period. Genuinely a shocking place to work. Technically a skilled job but they pay you no where close to enough pay for the physicality, difficulty and danger involved in the day to day tasks. Cannot stress enough how miserable I am after 18 months of working there. Morale is at an all time low and if it wasnt for my son living close by meaning i cam see him before/after every shift there’s not a chance in I’d still be working there.

Haría que se valorara mas al personal de producción y que se escucharan sus inquietudes e inconformidades, ya que es ahí donde comienza todo y se pueden concretar las ventas.

Yo trabajo en continental hace 2 anios y me toco estar con una jefa de grupo estupenda muy trabajadora me llama poderosamente la atencion que se desvive por hacer muy bien su trabajo nos da la libertad de actuar si nos equivocamos habla con nosotros como si fuera nuestra mama es alg
uien que se pone en tu lugar y nos comprende no tiene favoritismo porque todos somos sus favoritos y a todos nos regania por igual es una lastima que a jefas de grupo asi no se les reconosca su trabajo porque ni siquiera el supervisor nunca le dan gusto gracias
