A job, not a career
Working at AutoZone, was fun for the time being, The management was not at all professional., and did not appreciate their team members. The scheduled lacked consistency, and order. You could open the store one day, the very next close, and due to lack of customers, be completely removed from the schedule for the next few days. As a commercial driver, you drive from one auto body shop to another delivering parts, if there are parts that need to be delivered. If no parts need to be delivered, you are helping the other cashiers with the customers up front while the customers ridicule you for the lack of auto jargon. As I've said, it was fun for the time being, I was able to gain a lot of experience from it, and met a lot of people, but it is definitely not a place where one should begin a career.
