Great business to work for
Great place to work for. They are understanding and pay is reasonable. They offer benefits. They genuinely care about their employees. I will highly recommend.
It's an okay job but it doesn't pay well.
It's a good job for a kid that doesn't need the money but wants to work. The job pays a little over minimum wage and they only give you 25 hours unless they really need you. If you're friends with upper management, you get preferential treatment. Promises are made but never kept. Not really much room for advancement unless you know someone.
does not pay well and most employees are part time. Sometimes not enough hours.
You either love it or hate it, either way you make very little
Depending on your location and who you're with, you either love it or hate it. I worked at two locations; location A was great. It was in a good part of town, management cared about the store, and my coworkers were great.
Location B was in a very bad part of town, management didn't care about the store, coworkers had no motivation (I don't blame them when the store gets robbed daily and the customers were short fused), and it was clear that nobody stayed for long.
This all said, the pay is poor and the in store discounts is 20% off. And climbing the ladder is impossible in location A but very likely in location B.
VentajasGives you a foot in the door for the automotive industry.
DesventajasPay poor, little discount percentage, hard to climb up the ladder.
Autozone/Not a place for advancement
There are no real way up, you may become a manager, but you may get paid $12 an hour, which is pitiful if you have a family. There's not a lot of incentive, nor anything as far as a track record for advancement. Job/Life balance is good, I never felt it really intefered, if you need days off, you can often receive them. Job security is very strong, you can't get cut, unless you just a teenager who doesn't work hard. It' a basic job routine, always stay busy, try your best. Management is not so bad, people here are often reasonable, friendly, and helpful. Some manager were on the shady side, but nothing big to complain. There was no job culture, except for the fact that you learned parts constantly, even if you feel you kinda know it all, you'll find out pretty quickly there's another part on some foreign make that you did not anticipate. But most of the problems you face, are pretty repetitive and easy after getting use to the ropes.
VentajasFlexibility, Friendliness, Job Security
DesventajasHardly any way of Advancements, Poor Compensation
Dont work here
Most people start off and 9 and managers start off at 10.50 workers aren't moviated I hate that I was always they're when they called me and they cut hours 10 times more than any other company I know.
VentajasMeeting nice customers tips knowledge
DesventajasPay job security and mangement
You learn a lot as you go, fun place to work
Loved my time at Autozone, great company, flexible hours, pay is terrible but other than that its a good place to work. Management is a little sketchy.
Work environment is excellent
Work is excellent environment. I've learned a lot about how to run the store when store manager is not present. I've learned also how to inventory from received and ship out, inventory cycle count and planogram.
Productive workplace with room for advancement
i learned all about the retail industry in automotive parts. the hardest part of the job, since i was in the main HUB store, was to keep up with the rapid pace. the most enjoyed part of the job is extending my knowledge to the customer and making sure they leave in confidence in my work.
Meet cool people at work just don’t get paid enough and sometimes the management you get at your certain store is sucky so made work
