This was a new experience working in a small town auto parts store but I gained a lot of knowlege while working there. The job can be fun at times.
My experience working at Autozone I noticed a high rate to turnover of employees and management not only at the store where I worked at but also at other stores in the district. Ensuring that customers had a pleasant experience and receive the proper advice and the right parts for the right jobs they were doing was always the top priority of the day. A typical work shift is 8 hours depending on the size of the store it may only be 2-3 employess working in the store to cover the phones, make deliveries and service the customers Having customers who come into the store and leave happy and confident from the advice and parts I gave them was the most satisfying part of the job. The relationships built with the customers rather if they came in the store or called was an important part of the job for me. I appreciated the trust given to me to help them in their purchasing decisions and for their business. The hardest part of the job seemed to be not having enough employees to take care of the customers in the store,, answer the phone and put up the the weekly parts and supplies that came in by truck every week.
